PeakPass deployment delivers end-to-end tolling operations across the US 36 Express Lanes between Denver and Boulder
CARLSBAD, CA, UNITED STATES, October 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Neology, a global transportation technology company that is partnering with customers to [re]imagine tolling, transportation and mobility technology solutions, today announced the successful go-live of its Tolling-as-a-Service (TaaS) platform for Plenary Roads Denver’s PeakPass operation on the US 36 Express Lanes connecting Denver and Boulder, Colorado.
The new platform went live on September 14, 2026, delivering a fully integrated tolling ecosystem that combines Neology’s roadside tolling technology, operational back-office services, call center operations, invoicing, and violations processing under a single managed service model. The deployment represents the tolling industry’s first fully integrated Tolling-as-a-Service platform and establishes a long-term relationship under an initial 10-year agreement with options to extend the term for up to 40 years.
“The successful launch of PeakPass marks an important milestone for the US 36 Express Lanes,” said Christian Guevara, Senior Vice President of Operations, Plenary Americas. “Neology’s integrated Tolling-as-a-Service platform provides the technology, operational support, and scalability needed to deliver a reliable customer experience today while supporting our long-term vision for the corridor.”
The deployment represents a significant milestone in the tolling industry’s evolution toward service-based technology delivery. Through the PeakPass program, Plenary Roads Denver gains a comprehensive tolling platform designed to reduce operational complexity, improve customer experience, and provide long-term scalability for one of Colorado’s most heavily traveled transportation corridors.
“Going live on US 36 demonstrates how tolling agencies and concession operators can benefit from a fully integrated Tolling-as-a-Service model,” said Bradley H. Feldmann, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Neology. “We are excited to partner with Plenary Roads Denver to deliver an innovative platform that combines industry-leading roadside technology, back-office operations, customer care, and transaction processing into a single, seamless solution. This milestone represents another important step in Neology’s strategy to transform how tolling services are deployed, operated, and scaled.”
The PeakPass deployment includes Neology’s complete tolling technology suite:
• neoForce™ roadside toll collection platform
• neoRead™ advanced vehicle identification and image review technologies
• neoClass™ vehicle classification capabilities
• neoCare™ customer care and account management services
Together, these solutions support toll collection operations across 17 tolling locations along the US 36 Express Lanes corridor, delivering accurate transaction processing, streamlined customer service, and comprehensive operational visibility. As transportation agencies and concessionaires seek greater operational efficiency, reduced technology complexity, and predictable lifecycle costs, managed-service models such as Tolling-as-a-Service are emerging as a compelling alternative to traditional tolling deployments. The US 36 go-live demonstrates how toll road operators can leverage integrated platforms to accelerate innovation while maintaining a focus on performance, customer experience, and revenue assurance.
This deployment reinforces Neology’s ongoing transition from delivering individual tolling products to providing comprehensive mobility and tolling platforms that help transportation operators modernize infrastructure, optimize operations, and serve motorists more effectively.
